First Day of 4th Term March 16

Welcome to fourth term! Today we reviewed and updated some class policies:

1. Because we have an as-needed restroom policy, students will not receive hall passes for 4th term.
2. A reminder about our late work policy. Students only receive 3 late work passes for the entire semester. If you have used them up already, please be hyper-vigilant about turning in all work on time. Late work passes are only good for up to 3 days after the due date for an assignment.
3. If you are absent, you have the same number of days you were absent to make up missing work. Beyond that, you will need to use a late work pass.
4. During class, as we grow more and more comfortable with each other, we need to be cautious not to forget to be considerate about talking at appropriate times.

Today we read Screwtape Letter 26 together. We also discussed the Screwtape Ad assignment. For this assignment, please make sure that you format your poster in the same manner in which Mormon Ads are formatted. We are going to show these before our class devotional. Thus, you will need to submit both a paper (color) copy and an electronic copy.

Homework:

• Select your top 2 choices for Screwtape Ad topics. Submit them to Mr. Dye tomorrow so that we can ensure we have a wide sampling of topics.
• Screwtape Ad is due this Friday.
